INNOVATE UK!

The Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) has declared the “made smarter food and drink demonstration day” as part of its Made Smarter Program holding on Tuesday, 27 February 2024, in AMRC Cymru, Chester.

The Made Smarter program is a national movement backed by world-renowned businesses and the UK government with the aim of creating a fully connected, dynamic manufacturing ecosystem inspiring innovation across academia, technology providers and manufacturers.

The Innovate UK KTN has created this “Demonstration Day” opportunity to increase awareness in the sector and accelerate digital technology adoption for scalable and efficient manufacturing.

Who is this event for?

• Food and drink manufacturing SMEs looking for cost-effective options to increase output or seeking solutions for greater sustainability within their business.
• Food and drink manufacturing SMEs looking to reduce energy costs, labour and skills shortages and supply chain challenges.
• Food and drink manufacturing SMEs looking for funding and support with their innovation journey.

This event will provide:
